Phrase Chunking (PC)

Top  Previous  Next

Phrase chunking, or shallow parsing, provides a flat representation of the major syntactic categories by assigning tokens to non-recursive segments, without resolving more complex attachments. Phrase chunking (PC) remains an important technique in natural language processing (NLP) for intermediate syntactic processing.
